You buy the garter belt and just connect with your regular sock thigh highs. Personally I think the lingerie look is edgy and cool but Im sure you will still look great. Stay chic!!
Add dark accessories to add some edge to your outfit. A black bootie with studs and/or zippers would be perfect. A spiked necklace and stud earring would add a nice pop too. I’m very literal when it comes to fashion so black, studs, spikes, etc are great accents. Kill it doll!

I’m starting to think that the Anons are challenging the girls… bring it.
Take a look at our past Killer Tips because we’ve listed dozens of great affordable sites/stores to help you out. Stay chic!!
We’ve been getting this question a lot lately & hopefully you’ve seen our post about adding a video segment to BGKI. I’m going to devote one of our first videos to this so look out for it.

When you say high tea for some reason the Royal Wedding came to mind lol. I think you should go for a sleek and sophisticated look. Try one of these styles and I think you will look bomb!! Style #1 or Style #2. Both are demure enough with a touch of spice. Being that you want to wear nude heels you can easily have fun with color. Stay chic!!
I love high tea parties. They’re a unique experience that every girl should experience. Your outfit should depend on your other guests. If it’s a more traditional crowd go for a longer skirt. Despite your crowd a polka dot halter dress with a full bottom like this is always a great option. Rockabilly and pinup style dresses are also really great because they combine edge and tradition. Kill it doll!

When I think of a high tea, I think of all things dainty. I suggest going for a classic sundress, so that your accessories can speak volumes. A pearl necklace and pearl studs will instantly give your look a classic glam feel. I’m from the south, so when I think of a high tea, I also get the mental picture of a southern belle. With that being said, gotta have a big hat! I think that the lace gloves and the folding fan would be the perfect finishing touches; simple pieces that are also fun.

As far as pants I love a wide leg on curvier bodies. I just think it looks so sexy yet hip. As far as what to rock come Summer time I suggest maxi dresses, bodycon dresses, linen pants, printed leggings, denim shorts. Incorporate lots of color and prints. Ikat print seems to be very popular as well as neons. Stay chic!!
Loose fitting linen pants are a summer staple for women of all sizes. They’re cool and comfy yet still chic. Cotton, tapered trousers are also a great option. Kill it doll!

I’d keep it simple and rock a pair of black or dark washed skinny jeans with and maybe a nice snakeskin wedge. For accessories just some stacked bangles and hoop earrings. Let the shirt do all the talking. Stay chic!!
I love these tuxedo style shirts. Why not play up that factor. Pair your shirt with a high-waist pair of white non-denim shorts. You could also go for a sailor style short. Forever21 has a variety of both these shorts. Kill it doll!

As long as your family isn’t ultra conservative a bodycon dress should be fine, but personally I would go for something a little more family friendly. Try a strapless dress with a pencil skirt bottom and some detail. It’s form-fitting, but not as tight as a bodycon dress. I wore a dress like this under my graduation gown and to a club for my birthday a year later. However, if you’d like to wear the bodycon dress try it with a pump or strappy heel. Stay away from hooker heels and platforms. They will make you look like you’re heading to a club instead of a family event. Have fun at the party and kill it doll.
XOXOXO
I agree with Dani, it depends on your family and the setting, to decide if it’s appropriate or not. If the dress has sleeves and isn’t super short on you, you may be able to pull it off. Your shoes are also a big determining factor. To be honest, because of your age, I would stick with classic shoe and stockings or tights. By dressing the dress up, you kind of minimize the sex appeal of a body con dress. BodyCon NC17 I would also suggest you hair to pulled away from your face and minimal/natural makeup. If you don’t want a dramatic necklace, consider studs, and a small bow or embellished, headband.

I know I’m not helping the situation but this is the third question I have seen submitted where the person wants something “family friendly”. So what I am understanding from this is if you run into Uncle Mike in the club tonight his jaw is going to drop? I’m confused… everyone in the world knows that you are sexy except your family? Make me understand.
thanks for the love!!! the easiest thing to do would be to go with a solid top. Try going for a color that isn’t a dominant color in the pattern.
-Gladyz J.
Try a basic top in white or black but if you want to incorporate color try a pastel like a light yellow or even a soft nude so you wont feel like a pack of high lighters walking down the street. Stay chic!!

You can pair the pants with vest as well, if you don’t want to change from the skirt and tights to the pants, before the party. It would be a lot easier to “change” in the car, just take off the vest, and change your accessories and shoes; hair and makeup, if desired. The skirt and tights are just another option , in case you want 2 totally different looks.

A pair of high waisted shorts would be cute. They will minimize the amount of midriff shown, while still allowing you to show off your legs since it’s summer time. If you don’t want to show off your legs and want long pants, try to stick to skinny and straight leg pants.

Try mixing and matching pieces that are fitted with pieces that have some movement. For example a tank top and a maxi skirt, or some denim cutoffs and a tunic top. Spring and summer are all about enjoying the sunlight, feeling the breeze, and showing off some skin! ;-)

Why not try an oxford or penny loafer. Since it isn’t a fancy shindig but you still want your look to stand out I think a cute shiny shoe like so would be completely adorable. But if your mind is set on some height why not try a wedge which can easily look casual. Stay chic!!
Try a flat sandal, they’re casual yet still cute. Go for an embellished pair if you want to crank it up a notch. Since it’s a flat sandal, you won’t have to worry about being too fancy.

I love to wear my Litas and over-the-knee boots with thigh-high socks. They look really cute with high-waist shorts.
XOXOXO
I think that thigh high socks are a fun alternative to the usual hosiery. You can wear them with just about any shoe really. What you need to be most mindful of is the length of your bottoms. If your skirt is too long, it will look schoolgirl-ish. The same with shorts, if they’re too long, you risk looking like an old school paper boy.
