There is nothing else like Summers in NYC so be prepared for the best time of your life!! Maybe Im a little biased but oh well I love my city!! To be Summer time fine I think you need to pack a little of everything. Bring several basic tee’s and tanks, jeans, denim shorts, mini skirts, maxi dresses, light weight dresses. The weather really switches up so you want to be ready for it all. Stay chic!!
Go for something like this. A cute alternative to a regular t-shirt and cut off or cuffed denim shorts. Do color pops of orange. Also try tying a patterned scarf as a bow, for a simple, yet cute accessory for your hair.

I would do a pop of color. Pink, red, yellow, orange, pick one. Navy and stone are both neutral colors so any color would go great with it. Good luck! Kill it doll.
XOXOXO
Also, try a green; jade or emerald.

I think a cute dress or skirt would be great. Graduation venues are usually a little chilly so I would recommend a maxi dress. However, I love short dresses with denim. I gave you a couple ideas for shoes because you could go with color or a nude. Kill it doll!

I say go high or die lol. A good alternative to 6-inch heels is a 6-inch heel with a platform. It’s almost the only way I wear super high heels. Wedges are also a good alternative. They’re easier to walk in than stilettos but still offer the height you want. 4-inch heels aren’t lame to answer your question. They just aren’t seen as often. Kill it doll!
XOXOXO
Start out with a wedge thats about 5 inches tall or try a shoe like a Jeffrey Campbell Lita because it has a chunky, thick heel which is a bit easier to walk in. Also practice walking around your house in heels, up and down the stairs, in circles lol do your regular activities in your heels. Not only will you probably drop a few pounds but when its time to go out you’ll be a pro. Stay chic!!
Your idea sounds great to me. I would pair them with a nude shoe or a coral. I love the combination of yellow and coral. They’re both soft colors that make a big statement. Kill it doll!

That’s definitely possible. I think most people have a certain style they favor but experiment with other styles depending on their mood. For example, I usually dress girly with an edgy twist, but I also may be a tomboy the next day and geek chic the day after that. Your style is about what YOU want so no one can define what is and is not appropriate for your style. Have fun developing your own unique style! Kill it doll!

You don’t have to define YOUR personal style. Thats why its yours. Being experimental and taking risk is what makes the fashion world go round. As long as you feel comfortable in what you’re rocking and youre confident about it, thats all that matters. Stay chic!!
The only people that are limited to having one style are prisoners. Even then, you may be able to tie a knot in a shirt and have a belly out, sexy ain’t it.

Some cute alternatives to a bra are bandeaus, camis, bralets, and bustiers. Putting a tank under your lace shirt, with a full skirt, pink mini and Mary Jane style shoes would be really girly but subtly sexy. I hope you like the idea. Kill it doll!

The jacket gives you options. You can wear the jacket closed and have complete coverage, and just have a peek of lace. You can go grown and sexy, by wearing it open. (in regards to wearing it open, I know you said you don’t want to show your bra, the jacket would still give you good coverage; also consider a high waisted bottom.

I like the idea of it with a fedora, cuffed jeans, and some edgy booties. Wear a neutral, big-face watch and oversized stud earrings and you’ll have a comfy, chic outfit to go out with the girls in. Kill it doll!
XOXOXO
Try tying it and cuffing your sleeves, like this.

A statement necklace would be nice; chunky, long, layered chains… Pick your bottom, based on the type of venue you’re going to. If you’re going to an 18+ type spot, I’d go for shorts or a short skirt. If you’re going to a more chill spot, like a lounge, I’d go with wide leg trousers.

GIMME GIMME GIMME! Lol I never wear tennis shoes, but I want them soooo bad!. Anyway lol you could always go with the basic jeans & a tank top route or you could try skinny leg cargoes in olive green with a black tank and a distressed denim vest. A snapback or beanie would look extra cute with it. Kill it doll!
XOXOXO
I like Dani’s idea with jeans and a tank. Add a little feminine edge. Boyfriend jeans keep the look sporty and casual. Instead of a plain tank, I chose one with a bit of sex appeal; the lace is not only flirty, but it also gives you a chance for a color pop, with your bra. As for accessories, keep 3 words in mind, simple, fun, and feminine.

Summer time is all about the BOLD!! Im sure that will be a bomb af outfit, be sure to use color and submit to bgki! Stay chic!!
It sounds extra cute. Just be sure to add a bold necklace or a statement earring to help fill in space otherwise you may be left looking drab. If you want to be a little more subtle throw on a vest or blazer in a poppin color like Barbie pink or Volunteer Orange. It’ll make people notice your outfit more and pay less attention to how much skin you’re showing. Like Tima said submit pics to BGKI! Kill it doll!
XOXOXO
I think that would be hot! I recommend horizontal blue and white stripes, and I would also complete the look with a red shoe.
-Gladyz J.
I agree with Gladyz. I have never seen anyone pull off vertical stripes and camo. However, a slightly oversized tank with stripes in contrasting colors would be extremely cute. Don’t forget to add some color. I think a big-face watch in a girly color would give your outfit a feminine touch while still maintaining a masculine edge. Kill it doll!
XOXOXO
If you’re going to wear stripes and camo together I would suggest staying away from black and white stripes. You may end up looking like a zebra soldier.
You could do a basic white tee with jeans and flats and add a nice embellished collar or a colorful sheer top with a neon mini with a leopard collar or some kind of other cool print. Stay chic!!
I love collars with shirts that don’t connect. Try pairing your collar with a tank. They’re great pieces to add some dimension and contrast to your outfit. Try pairing a studded collar with a lace shirt, high-waist shorts in your fave color, and cute sandals for a fun day look. Swap the shorts and sandals for a bodycon skirt & stilettos for night. Kill it doll!
XOXOXO
I’d go with the hot pink just because it will pop against the denim. Be sure to submit pics of you killing that look!! Stay chic!!
I agree with Tima. The blue and black are too close to denim so go for the more daring pink blazer. Kill it doll!
XOXOXO
