What inspires you to blog?

Fashion inspires me to blog. I love the way garments are put together, it starts off with a tiny bit of fabric and becomes this work of art. I find it interesting how people have different styles. I love writing about garments that go together- I mean my style might not appeal to some people but in general, it’s interesting to see what different people come up with when it comes to putting an outfit together.

How would you define your personal style?

Clean, Chic and Sophisticated

Do you find that you follow fashion trends, or do you play by your own rules?

I play by my own rules, I have adapted my style and I go with what im comfortable in. I don’t read other people’s blog to inspire what I wear. I go by what the weatherman says lol

Are there any colors you tend to shy away from, and if so why?

That’s funny cause I love colours. I wear them with pastel colours in order to make it less loud.

When you hear the term “Black Girl Killing It” what comes to mind?

lol Zoe Saldana- Her style is ridiculous!! she is a black girl that kills it hands down- in my opinion

As a child were you always into clothes or did you grow into your own fashion sense?

I grew into my own fashion sense when I moved to london. I was surrounded by people in the industry and thats how I became obsessed with fashion.

Do you participate in your local fashion scene?

I try to when I am not working, studying or interning lol. I go to fashion weeks and other fashion events.

How does your day to day life factor into your wardrobe choices?

My day to day schedule goes hand in hand. I go to fashion school and work in retail both require me to be fashionable therefore I dress without having to confuse my wardrobe pieces

What is your greatest fashion pet peeve?

When girls wear tights as leggings!!! it makes me cringe!

Have you ever tried your hand at design or sewing?

I’m not that creative lol I wish I could sew.

Are there any designers that you like to wear or whose clothing stands out with you?

I love Celine, its so clean and effortless. Burberry, I love how Christopher Bailey has transformed the brand, the colours the layers and prints it’s very innovative.
