How would you define your personal style?

Confident, Fun and definitely sexy!!!

Do you find that you follow fashion trends, or do you play by your own rules?

I love some trends, but that does not mean I necessarily follow them. 

For example,I’ve had clothing and shoes in my closet for 3 years, and then in one day I’ll just find the perfect piece and decide to wear it. Personally though, I think it is a lot wiser to get classic pieces and integrate them with a few trendy pieces.

Items to get, what are you searching for right now? 

• I am in love with the Christian Louboutin Lady Daf, but they are sold out everywhere. ( I think I get depressed, just even talking about it, so please lets not ) [:)] 
• I am also on the prowl for the perfect black bag. I have some I love, but none that I am in love with.

Are there any colors you tend to shy away from, and if so why?

I am not crazy about dark browns. It just does not “pop” or do anything for my style.

When you hear the term “Black Girl Killing It” what comes to mind?

A fabulous woman of color that isn’t afraid to take chances.

As a child were you always into clothes or did you grow into your own fashion sense?

Oh, I was a total tomboy. Really, I used to climb trees and play soccer in the rain. Haha, I think it was my senior year in high school that I really got into clothes, and for me, fashion is about learning and inspiration, so everyday, I think my style is evolving.

Do you participate in your local fashion scene?

I love the fashion scene around DC especially the CapFabb events. OMG I joined a few months ago, and its over 400 fashion and beauty bloggers now, and they are the coolest people ever. I just love being around them, and I think we have formed this really close sisterhood. I travel a lot, but whenever I am in town, I jump at the opportunity to see them. xoxo Ladies.

How does your day to day life factor into your wardrobe choices?

Oh I work primarily from home now, so I dress up every time I get a chance to head out. Even if its going to the grocery store, I will put on a pair of fabulous shoes, and sunglasses just because!

What is your greatest fashion pet peeve?

Hmmm, I am not sure, but I don’t think its sexy seeing a woman that can’t walk in heels. I know some shoes are NOT supposed to be comfortable, but i you cant, don’t. Its just not cool.  I hope I don’t sound mean.

Have you ever tried your hand at design or sewing?

Are there any designers that you like to wear or whose clothing stands out with you?

I love Oscar de la Renta dresses. I am not a very curvy lady, but there is something about his dresses, that just does wonders for me. For casual maxi dresses, I absolutely adore BCBG Max Azria. They are affordable and so fun and sexy

Who are your style icons?

I love Anna Dello Russo, she is very brave when it comes to fashion. I love the elegance and sophistication of Victoria Beckham.

Your four must-haves as a girl: 

• a classic pair of Christian Louboutin Pigalle Point- Toe Pumps. There is so much class in that little red sole, and the way they are designed, its the perfect heels and just so sexy on a woman.
• a great pair of jeans to accentuate your butt!
• of course a classic LBD, every woman must have that.
• a great smile and finally the confidence to carry your fabulous self!!
