What should I pair my camel brown blazer with please?

You could pair it with a berry-colored maxi skirt and a white tank top.  I would pair this with heels to add a little sass and show some skin.  You could also just throw it on with a basic dark pair of jeans and a graphic tee.  Good luck!

You can pair a red bodycon dress with it just cause camel and red are like bff’s they look so good together. For a more casual look and you can try a off white sheer long sleeved top, with boyfriend jeans, and a cute pump in a pop of color. Stay chic!!

I really want to emulate 1950's fashion, I was wondering if you know any good sites that sell vintage (or vintage looking clothing) that would look flattering on a woman of color?

There’s this great site called http://StopStaringClothing.com and its filled with vintage and retro pieces. They’re a bit pricey so if you ever want to emulate that look its really simple. Try a striped nautical shirt, with a pair of high waisted slim leg pants, and a cute pump or flat. Or you can do a fitted pencil skirt, with a leopard print cardigan. Dont be afraid to show your curves because women in the 50’s sure weren’t. Lastly add a winged eye and a red lip for that extra pinup flare. Stay chic!!

Etsy.com has loads of vintage clothing.  I would combine navy blue & red into my outfits.  Polka dots and nautical clothing are also very 1950s.  Try a neutral eye with winged eyeliner and a red lip.  I also think it’s cute when ladies add the mole above their lip.  It really adds to the outfits.  You could also try 50s inspired hairstyles like victory rolls and adding bandanas to your basic hairstyles.  Good luck!

Help me please

Question

okay, so there’s this girl at my school that i used to be bestfriends with. we recently stopped being friends when the new year started. it was mainly my choice simply becuase i didnt like the type of person she was. she’s the drama type and she would always pick on others who wear rag clothes or who she thinks are ugly and call girls hoes ( when she had sex with her so called ‘brothers” or “bestfriend”) so i was tired of the negativity because im no where near something like that so thats why me and her arent friends.but see im different, once me and you arent cool anymore, i dont talk mess about you or spread rumors or try to minupulate you in any way. well shes been saying slick things around me, just the little stuff to get under my skin.i dont understand why she does that when she is never in my mouth or my mind. and im going to snap if she keeps pushing it. but i dont want to. i dont like fights or drama. but i have her in 5 of my classes and  we are friends with the same people, so whenever im with them she’s there to! so its kind of hard to avoid her. and plus at times i dont even think some of my friends are REALLY my friends. but please tell me what should i do about this situation! and sorry about the exxesive paragraphs i cant write as much as i want to on here.

Answer

It sounds like youve been being the bigger person and you should continue to be. The little petty things shes doing is just to get a reaction out of you but dont give it to her. She wants you to get mad, shes wants to pull you out of your character, and I know its hard to stay composed with someone picking at you every chance they get but its just best to give her a ‘girl, bye’ and keep on moving. Show her shes insignificant and walk the halls like youre Naomi Campbell!! Stay chic!!

I think that you’re doing the right thing by separating yourself from negativity.  I would just try to talk to her & let her know why you’re not as close to her as you all used to be.  If she doesn’t change then stay away because you don’t need that in your life.
